Adding a credit card to your Paytm wallet is a straightforward process. Follow these simple steps to ensure a hassle free experience:
LOG IN TO YOUR PAYTM ACCOUNT

If you’re already a Paytm user, begin by logging in to your Paytm app. You can also access your Paytm account through a computer browser.
SYNC WITH THE MOBILE APP
To establish a connection with your mobile app, scan the QR code displayed on your browser using the Paytm mobile application.
ACCESS YOUR PROFILE
 In the main screen of the app, locate your profile; you can typically find it in the top left corner.
NAVIGATE TO PAYMENT SETTINGS
 In the app’s sidebar, locate and click on “PAYMENT SETTINGS.”
SELECT SAVED CARDS
 Within the payment settings, you will find an option called “SAVED CARDS.” Click on it.
ADD A NEW CREDIT CARD
To add a new credit card, click on “ADD NEW CARD.” Paytm supports various card types, including Visa, Master, Rupay, Amex, and Diner cards.
VERIFICATION PROCESS
Be prepared for a notification indicating that Rs 1 will be debited from your card for verification purposes.
Rest assured, this amount will be refunded to your bank account within the next 48 hours. Click on “PROCEED” to proceed.
ENTER CARD DETAILS
On the following screen, enter your card details, including the card number, expiry date, and CVV number. Don’t forget to tick the option that says “SAVE THIS CARD FOR FUTURE PAYMENTS.”
VALIDATION AND CONFIRMATION
Upon successful validation of the details and the completion of a test debit transaction of Rs 2 from the card, your new card will be added to your Paytm account.
REPEAT THE PROCESS
It is important to note that the procedure remains the same whether you’re adding a debit card or a credit card.
