Bank and the customers were confused about these unexplained deposits. The bank’s manager, Pratap Pradhan, said that since morning, some customers received money ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 30,000, and they didn’t know where it came from. A lot of people, around 200 to 250, came to the bank to withdraw money. They found some customers with Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 in their accounts. Because of this rush and the mystery around the money, the bank temporarily stopped withdrawals.
